No, somebody should fix 492220. That's a bug introduced or exposed by
Debian's changes to Libtool; it doesn't show up upstream. Reporting
419228 doesn't make sense either as long as indirect dependencies are
not supported upstream.
The testsuite patch from 419228 has been integrated upstream.
