That's what I meant. Thanks for the clarification.
I can confirm the following behavior: If I boot with a stock debian
kernel fsck is run even if I'm on battery. If I boot with a self
compiled kernel which has the acpi modules built in, fsck isn't
executed, if I'm on battery.
