It sucks that the udev upstream maintainers did not have a crystal ball
to be able to prevent future bugs and suboptimal designs, but I suppose
that this is how life works.

I have other priorities, I suppose that given time I would eventually
get to it.
Asking a question with debconf is not "innovation", anyway.
