Ok, thanks for clarifying that. I wasn't aware of that issue. It also
explains some of the errors I've had with partial upgrades from 6.9 to 7.0.

Right, I'm sorry. I'd forgotten about that part and had misread the script
before sending the mail. /usr/bin/X11 is still a symlink to . (or rather
../bin), so anything installing to /usr/bin/X11 will actually install to
/usr/bin.
