I regularly use pbuilder, but I don't see how this could be useful here:
For every package build, it untars a new filesystem, installs
dependencies, builds, and removes the complete thing again. For a
mass-building of package, wouldn't one want to reuse the chroot, at
least until the first FTBFS?
