And how would missing builds there be a problem?

Daily build+upload of a package prevents it from migrating ever to
testing. IMHO uploading daily builds to unstable is inappropriate,
especially since packages in unstable are supposed to be in a generally
releasable state, and daily changes in a package are unlikely to meet
that standard.
