Re: report-po, forward outdated po file to the last translators

Lot of us ask for this, yes. BUT and this is a big "but", remember the
nice flamewars which happened in first Grisu attempts with the DDTP
for automatically notify maintainers for translation of their packages
descriptions.

For sure, this is somewhat different here, but we can expect some
translators ranting because they are "bugged with tons of mails" asking
them for updates.

My own opinion is that when you put your name and email address in a
Last-Translator ield, you should be prepared to have some requests
from the maintainers of what you translate....

But the people mileage may vary on this....*

Another option would be sending the mail to the Translation-Team
address rather than Last-Translator. Unfortunately, currently several
single translators put some fake "Translation Team" name and address
in this field.

Nikolai, I suggest you configure KBabel to *not* change the
Last-Translator field unless you request for it to be updated, by the
way. This may be configured in KBabel while it can't in poedit (which
I maintain...:-))).

Fabio, thanks a LOT for this script. Maybe some care is needed in its
details, but this is definitely a great idea.

Including it in po-debconf may need some time as Denis Barbier has
lowered his contribution to Debian a lot. I think he will welcome
NMU's for such new functionality as soon as there is a real consensus
about this new tool (and as soon as he's warned about it of course).
