Yeah, I'm working on it. The problem with the mapping stanza is that
it's not needed with 16-bit cards, but it is with the Cardbus ones. So
you can run happily with the former without the mapping but if you
switch to Cardbus it doesn't work anymore. hotplug should probably
handle all these events and the ifup in /etc/pcmcia/network.opts
should be removed, but that would be problematic for people who
upgrade.
