it would be nice if the knoppix-specific debs from the knoppix site (hardware 
detection  and configuration, without hdd install hacks) could be made policy 
compliant (and perhaps more than i386 arch only) and uploaded to debian.org. 
Then everything could be documented in their /usr/share/doc/, man pages or 
such ;-). Yes I know cloop-src is packaged by Klaus Knopper ? Btw, is that a 
NMU or he is official DD?

This is really a nice functionality to have, so I have the following 
questions:
1) Will be fai-bootcd instegrated in upstream FAI ?
2) You have now non-interactive install without network, therefor is it 
planned to perform interactive (various methods like network and more...) 
installs with the standard debian-installer ? Perhaps debix (see at alioth) 
would help here to create the live file system?
