I like the way of exim4-config extremly well, as additional packages
could bring their exim4-extensions without breaking standard config.
However, it's quite easy to make a total different exim4-config, as
long as that package puts a configuration file to /etc/exim4/exim.conf
or an autogenerated file to /var/lib/exim4/config.autogenerated and
the package provides and conflictes with exim4-config. An example
package is delivered with the exim4-sourcepackage. So the
exim4-config-setup allows anybody to select what he likes best. That's
the way tools should work.
Cheers,
Andi
