It doesn't have to. I personally, and I believe that I'm pretty much typical with that, don't need anything but my mail client to send mail to the internet. Well, that is "I wouldn't need" if reportbug hadn't those X-Debbugs tags... For most other things I can just run programs on other machines if I run into problems. Reportbug doesn't work too great that way, though. Cheers T.
