Or alternatively "That nothing in this Resolution shall mandate the
removal of support for non-free software from the Debian Bug Tracking
System", or some such language.

I don't wish to propose this as an amendment, since it wouldn't be
appropriate. I'm not suggesting an alternative; I would simply like John
to clarify this in a revised draft so that there is no confusion about
what he intends by the resolution. Since the proposal deletes the text
from SC 5 saying that "we provide infrastructure (such as our
bug-tracking system ...) for non-free software packages", I believe that
it is quite a reasonable interpretation to a voter that we will no
longer provide such infrastructure.

Likewise, if the unspoken intent is that the packages recognized by the
bug tracking system should continue to mirror those provided by the FTP
archives, then that should also be stated.
