I am a wmaker phreak and would be happy to help. But I would never
install anything gnomish on my PC, so maybe I don't qualify...

it is practically impossible to teach good programming style to
students that have had prior exposure to basic: as potential
programmers they are mentally mutilated beyond hope of regeneration.
