Depends if the release goal is "make g++ 3.1 available" or "compile
everything C++ and Ada[1] with gcc 3.1 so that the ABI is compatible.
Note:
[1] not sure if Gnat 3.1 changes the ABI, but I would be surprised if it
didn't. Also, I did have to remove a number of important Ada packages
(libasis, gch, libgtkada, gnat-glade so I could install gnat-3.1).
