No, but it's "not done", IMHO. Translations are one thing; rewriting a 
description because you don't agree with the form or the contents is
another. 

I could agree with some "language comittee" that reviews descriptions and
makes _suggestions_ about _possible improvements_, but this crosses the
line between help and plain arrogance.
