I tried apt-proxy later on my Debian bo xand noticed this
behavior, too. The package download stalls at the end. The
package seems completely tranferred but apt doesn't know that.

I guess I have to find some other solution. Squid sounds good at
first but there hidden somewhere in the squid-cache so I can't
burn them to a CD or something like that.
