I don't know all of his mind, but from my conversations with him I would
conclude that he's just not finished with the work he wants to get done
on the package.

By extention I would presume that the work Myth is doing on the package
relates to this goal.

I don't think that this is an issue anymore. AFAICT, Myth let the
crypto problem go into the hands of the people that are dealing with it.
If crypto does go in main, it will probably all be migrated at large, so
basically all that Myth has to do is keep uploading to non-US
until/unless they eventually go and stick all of the crypto in non-US,
including Mozilla, into main.

I think that the folks dealing with crypto primarily have the goal of
getting this done for woody above all. Perhaps waiting for crypto go go
into main is like "waiting for the sun to explode" and perhaps not, but
in any case we'll know one way or another in the short term before the
release and possibly for the freeze.

I frankly don't think the ftp masters would take kindly to this idea.
Keep in mind that, well, Myth is keeping this in mind. Perhaps Myth
would be more forthcoming with his plans if he were less inundated with
complaints; he has indeed been more forthcoming with me in the areas
that concern me and is therefore likely more forthcoming to the key
debian people like the release manager etc., especially since they don't
flame him publically.

but this flaming stuff was just starting to get kinda fun :>
