I have a strong feeling that mpich's configure won't work with 2.50.
It would be nice to have a "backward-compatible" version of autoconf.
Otherwise, we probably are introducing a bunch of
"can't build from source" bugs by silently upgrading autoconf.
This is in my humble opinion, though.
It would be nicer if I could Build-Depends: autoconf-2.13
or have a autoconf-2.13 package to build the configure scripts.
