 Hamish> That's not really a good answer.

	Well, that is the answer that has allwaysbeen given for _any_
 debian release. I think I prefer this to M$'s marketing department
 touting a product befire the code is written, really.

 Hamish> Would you want to work on a project which had no goals and no

	Heh. You either have not been working for Debian, or have been
 unaware that we don't have release goals or schedules. It is a zen
 thing. Debian releases when it is time.

	Additionally, we do have goals, we just don't have release
 goals. Having hard deadlines with a volunteer project is impractical;
 having release goals may unreasonably delay a release; having a hard
 deaqdline would put pressure on us to release a prodct that is not
 ready because of the gbad PR due to missed deadlines.

	However, if you wish, I hereby proclaim that Debian shall
 release woody before December 31, 2099, or when it is ready,
 whichever comes first.

	Happy?
