More people than packages
Will more workers result in a higher quality distribution ?
Yes. (as long as they all follow policy)
Should we be making it easier or harder to become a member of debian ?
Easier.
Ive wanted to be a debian member for nearly 2 years, there are still
hundeds in the queue, probably thousands more people who havent joined
the queue just because there is one, the queue wont get smaller.
Debian is NOT making the most out the open source/free software
developers fan base by a long way.
