I'm not sure how it qualifies, but yesterday ago the whois package
has got a really bad bug because the .nl registry moved its server and
now queries for .nl domains are failing.
You should also look at #62570, I spent some days thinking about it and
I concluded the default server must be changed. Phil has a very strong
opinion about it. :-)
I would have uploaded a new package tomorrow anyway, but today I was not
at home and I just read your message.
