As it has been said before, pentium optimisations slows down 99% of
all systems. The only systems that gain from it are true Intel Pentium
MMX cpu´s. Any other cpu suffers from the optimisations or gains
nothing.
Its realy pointless to make a distribution for such a minority and let
slow/old systems and expensive/fast/new systems suffer for it. If you
have a Pentium MMX and want more speed, buy a new computer.
May the Source be with you.
