Not necessarily. For i386 and Alpha, it's "XF86_FBDev". For m68k and
PowerPC, it's "XF68_FBDev".

commented on the idea itself; for the record I think configurability
Let me just add that I am aware that the folks who work on the Red
Hat-derived powerpc Linux dist have xconfigurator sorta working with
Joel Klecker (aka Espy) Debian GNU/Linux Developer
