I have found setting up printing to be major PITA . Yes, my printer
was quasi-supported by ghostscript, but all of the details took hours to
work out. Installing and configuring sound cards, printers, and X under
Debian (and probably other linuxes) is lot of work for those with a good
deal of experience with unix, but who are not professional sysadmins.
