I made the last NMU to mark it orphaned and to fix some bugs. I tried
to inform WNPP about it, without luck. *None* of the packages from
dotfile source are of standard priority (at least in the source before
and after my NMU). They were in the wrong section, but I think dark
moved them by now (it's a bug against ftp.debian.org).

What do you actually mean by unconditionally prompting - the message
for bytecompilation? What do you propose, to automatically bytecompile?
