At the moment nobody has requested to cancel the GIMP contest, you're
the first mentioning it.

Using junk and realizing that all is rubbish won't help anybody. So
better rediscuss our goals and modify the rules or the contest or whatever
before it is too late. When we are to stick with what has been submitted
yet, I guess that we should stay with Deb the Chick.

Ok, and what if none of the submissions pass our vote? Debian won't have
a new logo, no artist would win 1) and 2). Do you want to achieve this?
Like I mentioned above, this won't help anybody.

A logo should last a lifetime. We should not change our logo every n
years. This would terminate the goal of recognizability (sp?).

So remove the words. Then you'll get one possible logo.

That's not an idea, that's stupid and childish.

Can you please change this signature and remove the reference to
the Nazi leader. Thanks. We didn't want an equivalent picture
on the opensource.org website and we probably don't want to have
it under our mails.
