frozen i386 libstdc++2.9 broken, thus no dselect, apt-get, etc.?

Dear all,

We seem to have a broken libstdc++2.9 which is bad news for dselect and
apt-get:

# apt-get
apt-get: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.0-1.so.2: undefined symbol: __register_frame_info

Is this something obvious or should I report it as a bug ?

 Package: libstdc++2.9
 Version: 2.91.58-5

 -- System Information
 Debian Release: slink
 Kernel Version: Linux sauternes 2.0.34 #8 Mon Jun 29 16:29:24 CEST 1998 i586 unk
 nown

 Versions of the packages libstdc++2.9 depends on:
 ii  libc6           2.0.7u-6       The GNU C library version 2 (run-time files)

Cheers,
	Kristoffer
