Arnt if you stuck to using facts you might be able to have a sensible
discussion

The combined work is GPL. Who cares. The LGPL permits an LGPL work to be
part of a GPL work, so from the view of a GPL'd ls, yes the dynamically
linked ls is a GPL item, and the libc in it is binding to that license,
but the libc on its own is not GPL its LGPL

This is first year intellectual property law stuff
