Hi, Not exactly a super package, but I'd like to point everyone towards the equivs package. It's purpose is to provide a Provides: line. Like for your httpd in /usr/local, so that dselect and dpkg are satisfied when you select e.g. dwww. To use it, you have to edit /etc/equivs.conf and do a debian/rules binary. Ciao, Martin
