Feel free to do some work and create your own distribution "Steve's
Genuine Debian GNU/Linux 2.0.1", or whatever else you want to call it
(barring trademark conflicts). Otherwise you come off sounding like the LSA
- an incompetent rude busy-body good-for-nothing know-it-all.
Perhaps you should try another operating system with a more "principled"
version numbering system. I (and I suspect many other developers) dislike
being labelled "deceitful", and would appreciate a retraction and apology,
followed by a long stretch of silence from yourself.
