Intent to package: Some dns checkers and tools
Hi!
(wnpp, see summary below)
I am currently looking around to find some tools
to check/display DNS data using nameserver queries.
One I have found and intent to package is dlint.
Homepage is http://www.domtools.com/dns/.
Maybe I take a look at some other packages at
this page later.
Another program I'd like to package is dnswalk.
Homepage is http://www.cis.ohio-state.edu/~barr/dnswalk/.
It requires the perl module Net::DNS. If someone wants
to take a look at it: http://www.fuhr.net/~mfuhr/perldns/.
I don't know any perl and have no idea if perl modules
have to be packaged somehow special, so if anyone wants
to package it, please go ahead. If no one volunteers, I
might take a look at other perl module packages and try
it by myself.
