I already reported this problem. It doesn't look at all like a packaging
problem, just running XF86_SVGA directrly crashes with a segfault during
probing. Even if I run it with -probeonly. (Hint _do not_ run X under gdb
unless you have some serial console or network access to telnet in and restore
text mode).
Brenden seemed to think it was related to PCI detection changes in the 3.3.2.2
XF86 release which sounds right to me. Have you tried 3.3.2.2-2 ? I'm about to
try it tonight. Brenden didn't close the bug so I'm not optimistic, but he did
say it closed every critical bug so maybe.
