No, you're not alone. Qmail is fast, configurable, secure and easy to
use. In addition it provides a quick'n' easy way for creating mailing
lists, and if qlist is insufficient, there's a piece of software
called ezmlm which seems to be light-weight, yet quite customizable,
and fast.

I wonder why it is so. /var/qmail/bin is.. well, a bit funny. I
understand putting queue etc. under /var, but binaries.. anyway, I
agree with you what you said above.
