The distribution of the images was done using a different distribution system
from both the ftp archive and web pages. See ftp://ftp.debian.org/OfficialCD/1.3.1/
for a list of mirrors, etc. (the mirror list contains contact names :).

Once we decide how to organize the disks we simply need to create the images,
set up a new directory under OfficialCD, get it mirrored, and make an announcement
about it (this announcement should be done seperately from the announcement of the
release of 2.0). BTW, there is a debian-cd mailing list which CD vendors are
supposed to be subscribed to.

The person responsible for ftp.debian.org stated a month or two ago that circumstances
have changed and that they are no longer able to administer the OfficialCD site.
Maybe we can get the maintainer of ftp.mi.us.debian.org to do this.
