I am all for putting scwm forward, since it is really good, and not
that stable.

However, I see one snag.

The scwm maintainers seems, allthough reluctantly, to give up
supporting guile 1.2, the last proper release of guile. And the last
release of scwm (0.6) is much better than 0.5, especially in icon
support.

I do not know how debian's guile package handles the released
vs. snapshots situation, but if it is that the guile package only
represent the proper releases of guile, it could be a problem to keep
up with the development of scwm.
