If it is considered by the developers to be alpha software, you might
want to put a warning to that effect in the description, so people
installing it aren't shocked if there are a few rough edges.  (In
fact, if you say something similar to what you say above, that should
be fine).  If the version number is less than 1, that also gives people
a good idea of the stability of the software.
