Splitting the distribution over several CDs

Oops, my previous posting had an off-by-factor-of-10 error !

		main		contrib		non-free	total
required	  6Mb		  -		  -		  6Mb
important	  6Mb		  -		  -		  6Mb
standard	 38Mb		  -		  -		 38Mb
optional	429Mb		  ?		 85Mb    }
extra		 36Mb		  ?		  8Mb    }	558Mb

total		515Mb		 27Mb		 93Mb		736Mb

This looks quite plausible, really.

I propose that we move all extra packages from main into separate
`extra' directories alongside main, contrib and non-free.

Then you can make CD's that fit by taking
  hamm/main/binary-{i386,all}
and
  hamm/{extra,contrib,non-free}/binary-{i386,all}

This will continue to be the case as optional expands. If we create a
new Priority which splits optional then we should put half of it in
`main' and the other half in `optional'.

Guy, can we do this easily ? Jason, can Deity be made to support this
quickly ?

Ian.
