Gosh!!! I really don't know how to go about this: I am the maintainer
of smbfs, the package that replaced ksmbfs. ksmbfs is history and I
filed several months ago a bug against ftp.debian.org to get ksmbfs
removed from the distribution, forever. Why is still there? Is there a
special step or procedure that I am not aware of???

Please get rid of ksmbfs. It is libc5 based!

Thanks,

E.-
