I would appreciate keeping it, since I use it nearly every time I ftp
to a debian mirror.  I touch type, but I would still rather type a
short name than a long one.  The vast majority of Debian users have
Intel based machines.  I don't see any significant cost to leaving the
links, or benefit to removing them.
