Speaking of this subject, our current structure is very annoying.  Eg:

/debian/dists/unstable/main/binary-i386/x11/xbase_....

You can have a path+filename longer than a line!

Can't we do something about that?

I don't want us all to end up with carpal tunnel! :-)
