Is omniORB taken?

Hello all,

I was thinking of becoming a Debian maintainer and would like to 
take on omniORB assuming that it is not already being worked on. 

I have been using Debian for over a year and have been
very impressed with the quality and variety of the 
distribution. I figure it's about time to give something
back. 

Also, I was wondering if there is a Debian big brother/sister 
program in place? That is, working with a more experienced
developer that could handle the beginner questions without
having to bother the whole mailing list.
