Problem with menu package !

Hi !

I am a new maintainer and I have a problem with the menu package.

When I install my freshly made package with dpkg the menu entries
don't change.

Some explanations:
* the postinst runs update-menus; it doesn't differ from other
packages which use the menu system
* after running update-menus manually as root the entries appear; same
if I run the postinst manually as root after installing
* I'm not sure about this but my impression is that the menus change
only after running update-menus two times
* after installing abuse from Joey Hess I had the same behaviour
(update was run by postinst but menus did only change after a second
run)

Here are my menu entries if it helps:
I tried it with and without the first line

X11 Apps/Games menu/apps/games none "Sports"
x11 Apps/Games/Sports flying/pool none "Pool" /usr/games/flying -pool
x11 Apps/Games/Sports flying/snooker none "Snooker" /usr/games/flying -snooker

Perhaps someone can help me with this problem ?

Second question:
The package is a billiards game. Is it ok to introduce a new section
Sports in Games like seen above or should I press it in another
section (where ?) ?
