That is true. I was too harsh, and I apologize.

I've just sent a five-page-long posting to debian-private. It
includes a suggestion that we need to set up a group that does
systematic testing, and whose approval is required for packages
to be put into stable.

The rhetoric in that posting is not really suitable for
debian-devel, which is an open list. If other developers
and the soon-to-be-elected Board of Directors like my
ideas, they will soon be discussed here as well.
