I wouldn't install all packages via flop, but I would use floppy disks
if I would be able to simply fill this thing at expensive of my boss
at work when the new emacs comes out do a major net packages update,
and wouldn't have to dial for hours with bad connections and open
phonelines for the 14k4 in my system. Think about people in area's
with no net connection (parts of afrika, south-america etc etc),
Debian would be the first linux distribution which can be installed by
floppy disk right out of the box. Keep also in mind that 20m floppy
disk are coming up.
