Just to put your mind at ease, the current version of bash, 1.14.6-5,
does contain the patch which fixes this bug (it's two changed lines).
I released the package before 1.14.7 was officially released by GNU.

I do intend to package 1.14.7 in the coming few weeks in the new
source format and with several other bugs fixed, so it won't appear
that our bash is susceptible.
