How to get the offset to GMT for a location?
I have the problem of generating lines for the changelog like:
-- Christoph Lameter <clameter@waterf.org> Tue, 22 Oct 1996 00:41:08 -0800
Where do I get the -0800 from? I looked through the timezone package and
through the documentation for date but I cannot come up with any
information on the hourly difference. Can I put something like PST there
instead of the hourly difference?
Right now I have -0800 hardcoded in debmake..... Sorry for all of those
not on the West Coast of Northern America.
