Can't you use 822-date?

	edd@miles:~> 822-date

	edd@miles:~> which 822-date
	/usr/bin/822-date

	edd@miles:~> file `which 822-date`
	/usr/bin/822-date: perl commands text

	edd@miles:~> dpkg -S `which 822-date`
	dpkg-dev: /usr/bin/822-date
