Right. We also need someone to do something, and less talking
about it...

Implementing something like install-fvwm2menu for other window
managers may or may not be easy, but it will certainly take some
time. install-fvwm2menu is there, it exists, it can be used, and
it solves the problem for most people, since fvwm2 is a really
popular window manager.

The two things that need to be changed in the install-fvwm2menu
interface are:

	1. The name needs to be changed to install-menu.
	2. The last argument should be just the command to execute
	   (using /bin/sh); install-fvwm2menu allows any
fvwm command to be given (since that is also necessary,
but not relevant for most packages).

install-fvwm2menu already has an argument for an icon. I haven't
really advertised it, because it isn't important. Getting as many
packages as possible to use install-fvwm2menu is important. Once
install-menu becomes a reality, it will be easy to change the packages
to use that instead (you delete "fvwm2" and "Exec "). Come spring
(or whenever install-menu is finished), we can do that change easily.

About icons: fvwm-common has a few tens of mini-icons. I think
they're from the set that has been converted to have the same
size (14x14 or 16x16, I don't remember which) and use a smallish
common set of colors. There's a few other icons of the same size
floating around. Fvwm2 sources (used to) have a program for
unifiying the colors. Need a new icon? Find it and send it to
our fvwm maintainer.
