I've not seen any formal goals of 2.1 yet, but I think we can expect a
few nice developments (e.g. inclusion of IPv6 code and maybe full integration
of a number of non-{intel,alpha} ports).

2.0 is not yet converged. Linus has stated he expects to release a number
of bug-fixes for 2.0 (arp NULL pointer dereference, SCSI tape), and
possibly a defence against SYN floods.
