Debian copyright question
I've just installed base-1.1.0-7. /etc/issue says:
Debian Linux 1.1
Copyright (C) 1993-1996 Debian Association, Inc. and others
But /etc/motd says:
Linux circe 1.99.2 #12-pre-2.0 Mon May 13 09:40:04 MET DST 1996 i486
Copyright (C) 1993, 1994, 1995 Debian Association, Inc. and others
Everything included with the Debian GNU/Linux system is freely
redistributable; the exact distribution terms for each program
are described in the individual files in /usr/doc/copyright/.
Debian GNU/Linux comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, to the extent
permitted by applicable law.
So what's the correct copyright? I take it it should be 1993-1996.
